Dr. David Anders is the Director of Research at the Stanford Cyclotron and Radiochemistry Facility. He oversees operations at the recently commissioned state-of-the-art facility, supporting over 25 faculty with 30 IND drugs to advance clinical and academic research.

Dr. Anders earned his PhD in Carbon- I I radiochemistry from Imperial College London with Professor Nicholas Long and Antony Gee before completing a postdoctoral fellowship with the late Dr. Gambhir, focusing on aptamer binding agents. He joined the CRF full-time in 2021 and became Director in 2023, leading innovation in radiopharmaceutical production to meet Stanford’s growing research and clinical needs.
