Dr. Ramya Valiveru is a specialist breast and endocrine surgeon practicing at KIMS Hospitals in Hyderabad. She has been trained at the premier institutes of India like JIPMER, (Pondicherry), AIIMS (Delhi), and SGPGI (Lucknow). She believes in the multi-disciplinary management of Breast cancer patients. On a day-to-day basis enjoys working closely with allied departments like radiology, nuclear medicine, pathology, medical, and radiation oncology. She has published her work on usage of Fluorecscein in sentinel lymph node biopsy in early breast cancer patients in world Journal of surgery, and the work was also presented at the prestigious San Antonio Breast Cancer symposium. She won best presentation award from the Breast Surgery International at the World congress of surgeons, 2019. She also published a book chapter on Hormone therapy in Breast Cancer in the book “Recent Advances in Surgery”, Jaypee publishers. She attended international as well as national workshops on oncoplastic breast surgery.
